Crossing Guard Requests

Requests to study potential new locations for Adult School Crossing Guards must be made by the Elementary School Principal to the School Traffic Safety Team. In order for a location to be evaluated, a minimum of 20 students must be crossing at the location during a single arrival or dismissal period. 

Locations referred by the School Traffic Safety Team to Traffic Engineering for consideration will be evaluated using the approved School Crossing Protection Criteria(opens in a new window)PDF.
