Smart Trips Challenge
The RoundTrip Smart Trips Challenge takes place every September!
If you live or work in Dane County, this month-long challenge gives you an extra reason to bike, take the bus, carpool, or walk and roll instead of driving alone whenever you can.
It's free to participate—and when you sign up for RoundTrip and log your trips, you'll be entered into weekly and grand prize drawings.
It's Here: The 2026 Smart Trips Challenge!
The 2026 Smart Trips Challenge is officially underway and runs through September 30. We're hoping to make this our biggest challenge yet!
How to Join 🏆
Anyone 18 and older who lives or works in Dane County can join:
- Create a free RoundTrip account.
- Log your trips in RoundTrip's CommuteHub platform September 1–30.
Log four round trips during a week to be entered into that week's prize drawing. Log at least 16 round trips throughout September to be entered into the grand prize drawings!
What trips count? Any trip that replaces a solo drive—or that you could have made by driving—counts!
