September Volunteer Spotlight: Fiona

Fiona started volunteering at the Senior Center at the beginning of
June 2026. Sadly, she will be leaving us in September to continue her
studies in Dublin (as in, Ireland), but we hope to see her here again
next Summer, because boy, was she a big help! Fiona volunteered
in both our Computer Lab and at our Front Desk. With both of
these volunteer positions, she was patient and displayed amazing
customer service skills. The Front Desk in the afternoon can be a
bit quiet, but Fiona made the most of it, decorating for holidays,
restocking our soda machine while our regular soda slinger Shawn
was out for the summer, and with...well, whatever we threw her
way. Thank you for all your help, Fiona, and enjoy the yearlong lush
greenery of Ireland – we'll think of you as we shovel the snow off the
front entry!
